The Junior Dragster was acquired in 2011 from Bryan and Alyssa Hicks of Regina who had run the dragster for a number of years. The dragster had been originally assembled by Cosby Motorsports of Calgary from a LJ Race Car chassis. In 2010 the dragster was updated with a new front and back-half by Louis Martin of Martin Components. The dragster ran with a low 10-second methanol engine and a Polar Clutch. New Firemist Red and Midnight Black paint had been applied by the shop classes at Regina’s Cochrane High School in 2010. With the new paint and updating the dragster placed first in its class at the 2010 Majestics Car Club Show in Regina. The Junior Dragster’s first stop after purchase was the Martin Components shop to be readied for the 2011 racing season.

For the 2012 season the Dragster was modified by Louis Martin to accomodate its new driver.  After the upgrades were complete the car was then wrapped with the Knight Archer logo.
